This mellow magazine takes one back to the 1961 baseball season when Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris were baseball super sluggers, each trying to smash 61 home runs to surpass Babe Ruth’s 1927 record of 60. Read what made them great, learn about their lives, and how they became “New Idols for America’s Youth”.
The magazine is in good shape for being 52 years old. I bought it in 1961. It has been carefully kept by me and does have some wear, but no major rips or stains. It does have all of its 72 pages, no writing on any pages, 8 3/8″ x 11″. In an effort to show printed details, some photos of pages appear more aged then they really are. There is a date stamp on the upper right front cover corner “Sep 26, P.M.”
Their Lifetime Records on pages 54-55 includes the All-Star game of 1961.

Safety Tips–Using Online Classifieds
Online classified sites are becoming increasingly popular way for people to buy and sell items. Post a listing, and quickly your ad is available to be seen by many people looking to buy what you have to sell. It’s an almost perfect scenario, and a great way to match up buyers and sellers. So much easier than traditional print classified ads!
To be safe, though, when using online classifieds an individual needs to be responsible and take reasonable precautions. Steps like; being wary about revealing personal information, screen the buyer or seller carefully and trust your instincts. If something doesn't seem quite right, something is probably amiss. Walk away.
